Stuff I learned on the Internet today

You should learn this stuff, too.

  1. The federal stimulus bill proposed by House Democrats contains a provision forbidding Illinois from receiving its portion of the money so long as Gov. Rod Blagojevich has any control over how it’s spent.
  2. In the meantime, Blago was busy comparing himself to Martin Luther King, Jr., and Gandhi.
  3. Clementine salsa is really darn tasty, even if you leave out the cilantro because your local grocer is out of it.
  4. New Delhi has a monkey problem.
  5. Rohan Deuskar, Nikita Shah and Daniel Victor are all better at Word Challenge than I am. At least, they are for now. We shall see what the future holds.
  6. Latvia has a hospital-themed restaurant where nurse-dressed waitresses serve food in syringes, flasks and operating-room dishes.

The Internet. It’s so full of learning!

It’s on, Daniel Victor. Tomorrow I’m memorizing two-letter words.
